Overview of this Blog

We are Digital Visual Effect Students from the School of Interactive and Digital Media, Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore), selected to participate in JENESYS2016 (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths), an exchange program organised by JICE (Japan International Cooperation Center).

The objective of JENESYS is to:
1. Promote mutual trust and understanding among the people of Japan and participating countries, and regions, to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation;
2. Promote a global understanding of Japan's economics, society, politics and foreign policy

We are mainly participating in this trip as participants of the 10th Asian International Children's Film Festival. Also, as ambassadors of Singapore, we also hope to be able to celebrate SJ50 with Japan in conjunction with JENESYS2016 for our 50th year anniversary of Singapore-Japan diplomatic relations.

Our desired takeaways from this trip are to learn about the Japanese culture and lifestyle, and as well as to make new friends during this opportunity.
